Ingredients
We have always used a gadget called a Whippit to make this. It fluffs up the mixture more than a normal beater
Put the cream in a bowl and whip enthusiastically
Add the sugar (if using the Whippit put the sugar in with the Whippit already in the bowl)
Whip some more
Add the vanilla
Whip until it is as thick as you want. With the Whippit you can get pretty close to butter, so stop somewhere before that stage.
Lick the beater. Be nice and share.
