Description: Organ, Reed, marked "Carpenter Organ Co" and Brattleboro, Vt, USA. An internal card states that it is No 94110, style 44110, Date Oct. 24, 1895. It has a mirror top. Pumping action is very tight. All reeds play. The leather hinges for the coupler mechanism and the swell shades have failed and been repaired with some sort of clear tape. 42"W x 23"D. 50"H to top of main cabinet. 70"H to top of gallery.

Context:

Significance: No direct connection to Green Gables, but 1895 date puts it in the correct period.
