Daly Family Egg Nog

Based on a recipe used by Len Daly

Ingredients

Ingredients for a smaller batch

We have always used a gadget called a Whippit to make this. It fluffs up the mixture more than a normal egg beater

Beat eggs until light and foamy, Add sugar and salt, beat some more

Add the cream, beat some more

Add rum or rum flavoring, anywhere from 1/4 cup to 1 cup. Beat some more to mix it in.

Kahlua also works nicely. Whiskey can be added as well.

Let sit in the refrigerator for a few hours to give the flavors a chance to blend.

If serving to mixed company, the liquor can be added when serving, but not quite as good.

Leonard always said that if you used enough liquor it would keep for months and just get better
